Were in the harbor a week ago and wanted to have a quick meal in the evening. Unfortunately, we didn't expect a 1.5 hour wait for pasta with a little Bolognese. Food was very good, but not particularly rich for the price. You should definitely bring plenty of time. Ev. But we were also dressed a little inappropriately for the noble Italian with Marina Feeling

The restaurant is right next to, or rather in the harbor. So perfect for skippers. If you want a place, it is definitely worth making a reservation. The beautiful terrace and the restaurant were fully booked. Why this is so quickly became apparent. Imaginative menu, friendly service and wonderfully prepared dishes. If you don't want to miss out on pizza, you should go somewhere else. We really enjoyed the evening and the fine food. We'll definitely go back when we're in port.

Very good Italian cuisine, with exquisite and fresh ingredients. I gladly accept waiting time as everything is freshly prepared. Regular restaurant for 10 years. Nice and competent staff.

Exceptional and very tasty food, friendly, attentive and competent service

Delicious food and super nice and attentive wait staff. However, the cook needs something. The waiting time for three people (main course) was approx. 35 min.

We were there with 4 people❗ Our order included 4 main dishes and 1 starter ❗ The starter came with the main course ❗ The remaining main dishes came one after the other so that we could not eat together With a waiting time of almost 1.5 hours not understandable ❗ Pasta overcooked and rabbits warm Service desert ❗ In the evening, a total of 12 guests were not much in the restaurant With repeated requests for service, the answer came that they only cooked a la minute❗🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 With the prices (which I like to pay for food) I do not expect an Italian snack ❗

For me one of the best restaurants in the area. Delicious Italian cuisine of excellent quality. I go there often, also with friends and acquaintances. So far, everyone has been satisfied.

Had an experience of the third kind on Christmas Day 2. It started when we arrived at the restaurant. We and our escort were still about to hang up our cloakroom because we were already asked to sit down at the table. When we arrived at the table, we noticed that some tables from the outside area had been placed between the tables in the dining room. It was so narrow that the controls over our heads had to operate the neighboring table. Instead of asking us for an aperitif, another table was served which came about a quarter of an hour after us. After we were finally able to order after what felt like an eternity, this was limited to the aperitifs. So we had to ask the waitress at the table again to order our food. We had a similar experience with the drinks that we only received after our meal. I don't have to mention that we waited in vain for the wine list. The food was sometimes so bad that my wife had to give a course back from the menu. Unfortunately the waitresses didn't notice when our glasses were empty so we had to ask again and again. When paying, it was so that the aperitifs included in the menu were listed on the invoice. The operators were unable to issue two invoices. After we insisted and also complained about the listed aperitifs, we received two pieces of paper on which we had tried to make the bill understandable. When we complained about this and expressed our displeasure, the waitresses informed us that they would eventually study with that if we didn't like it we wouldn't have to eat here. Furthermore, they called for the owner and complained to him. Instead of this coming to our table to clarify the matter, he only made a derogatory comment from a distance and complained to another guest about our behavior. In this respect, I can only advise everyone to think about eating out there. It's a shame how this so-called restaurateur acts in Merzig.

Ambience is right, as is the price-performance ratio. .. very tasty and attentive service. Sufficient parking spaces and a nice spot on the Saar in summer

After 20 minutes, only the drinks were requested, service a disaster, despite little busy tables the bread reached us only after 40 minutes, without words! The other guests fared no better ... displeasure was expressed ... the food, however, was good and fresh .... after 2 hours and 15 minutes we could leave the restaurant with appetizer, main course and dessert .... a great pity for a restaurant which was recommended to us and we had a journey time of 35 minutes in purchase. The time management must be revised urgently, as well as the personnel management !!! Three stars in total where the food is really to be recommended and the service left much to be desired .. !!!

Very pleasant Italian restaurant, wanted to eat pizza and lasagna, luckily they did not have it on the menu, so we chose the menu and were thrilled. Kinderharte does not exist, but there were extra suggestions to choose from. We were completely satisfied. We will definitely be back and try more.
